Oh gosh.. I've been dreading this review for the last ten hours in the hopes that I would encounter another disasterous outing elsewhere. For starters - I'll start with the service. We were sat in Julie's section (we've sat with her before and she was okay...but not great). The hubs asked her what the soft-drink selection was and all she said was "Coke products" - which, doesn't narrow that down much. The menus have recently changed and trying to find exactly what "Coke products" they offer was difficult. He settled on a lemonade and I ordered a decaf coffee (which took about 15 minutes to even arrive to the table). For dinner, I ordered the Farmer's Market omelet and the hubs ordered one of the specials (2 eggs, 2 sausage patties, homefries, and pancakes), he requested that the eggs be prepared over-medium. 15 minutes later, both of our meals arrived and as he cuts into his eggs, the yolk started running every where and it soaked into the sausage and the potatoes.. The plate gets pushed to the edge of the table and is left there for about ten minutes. During this time, the "assistant general manager" Steve, walks past our table (he was too busy sitting and chatting it up with these old folks that dine at Bob Evans everyday) and he didn't even notice. After waiting for Julie to come to our table, which, never happened, I grabbed the plate of disgusting food and brought it to her at the bar area. Shortly afterwards, she returns with a side plate of the soaked patties and potatoes. We both sat there looking at each other, thinking, seriously- did she really just do that? Another ten minutes went by and she arrives with the re-order of eggs. The hubs politely told her - thanks, but no thanks. Shortly afterwards, Steve "the AGM" arrives at our table to inquire about the issues that we were experiencing. I informed of the issues with the food: the uncooked eggs, the yolk covered sausage and potatoes, and that the restaurant staff paid more attention in getting the "perfect" baked potato for the two daily diners. What I found to be most inappropriate about our visit was the fact that including the "AGM", our server, and another server sat down at the table with the two diners. I pointed that out to Steve and that is when he informed me that they were there every day and that maybe they do pay too much attention to them because of it - which, I agreed that yes, they do pay too much attention to them because the service sucks for everyone else. Overall, my meal was okay, but, for sake of being so pissed off at the way we were treated, I will never set foot inside of Bob Evans again.

Service was excellent. I have to eat gluten free for my health and they took very good care of me. Went here for breakfast just before races yesterday and the staff was so nice and attentive. Put us in a very happy mood. Wonderful way to start the day!

It is not amazing cuisine, but it has a soft spot for me since I worked at one in college. I gave it only 3 stars because i'm sure that is what it deserves, but I do have several things that I enjoy. The must have is the sasuage gravy. It is a sinful pleasure. It is in reality just a half step up from fast food, but tasty in the same way.

I haven't been to one if these in a long time. Mostly because of their locations in Orlando. I am very happy with the service I got from Holly and Savanah. The omlette was perfect and the biscuits and gravy was full of flavor. Plus great strong WiFi.

Forget Cracker Barrel - come to this place instead. We had dinner on a Saturday night at 6:30 PM - no wait, great service. The dinner salad was large and all fresh ingredients. Our meals tasted good and the portions were generous. They have dinner rolls that are fresh and light; I had the banana nut bread and it tasted home-made. Five stars; we'll be back.

I know Bob Evan's is a chain, but I love that they like happy customers! I wanted strawberries in lieu of bananas on my multi-grain pancakes! They were happy to accommodate my request! AND they have peanut butter and honey and sugar free blackberry jelly...which is the way I like my pancakes!!! Pleasant wait staff to boot! What a nice way to start the day! Tip: Check on-line before you go. Occasionally they offer a 2 for 1 breakfast coupon.

I'll admit I don't usually eat at large restaurant chains, but in this case I saw that my daughter would eat for free so we gave it a shot. I ordered the blueberry crepes and they were delicious! My daughter had little pancakes and a coloring packet and she was a happy kid. Uneventful is always best!

The food here is always excellent although the service can be a little slow at times. The waitresses have always been helpful and friendly. If you haven't tried it already the sausage gravy will make you wanna slap your momma. Pro tip: If Brenda is available ask to be seated in her section.

Okay. It's Bob Evans. They are consistent, clean, and provide hot meals and hospitable service. The food, well it's just mediocre. But there is plenty of variety on the menu so you'll definitely find something to order. I wasn't too thrilled about the omelets though. They are more like tacos, but instead of tortillas, they use egg. So all of the fillings are just slapped in the middle and the egg is folded over. I prefer an omelet where the fillings are incorporated into the egg. Oh well. You can't win them all.

It's not that the food is the best, but the service is always good here. A lady named Virginia C. served our table. She was terrific. It was during bike week in October so I'm sure she had her share of nutty bikers. I'm a tea snob and she went out of her way to find the tea I wanted. I also have to agree that the sausage gravy and biscuits are really good.
